A Glimpse of the Sahara Sports Awards 2010

India's master batsman Sachin Tendulkar, boxing ace MC Mary Kom and wrestling superstar Sushil Kumar took the top honours at the Sahara India Sports Awards in Mumbai, on Saturday.

Veteran Tendulkar was named the Cricket of the Year, while World and Commonwealth Games gold medalist Sushil Kumar was honoured with the prestigious Sportsman of the Year.

The Sportswoman of the Year went deservedly to world champion MC Mary Kom, while the Indian Davis Cup beat the Indian cricket team to take home the Team of the Year Award.

We loved the drama in the dress - Fitted bodice with flirty sweetheart neckline, voluminous bubble hem skirt with a tiered chunky cascade detail on waist. Her red lipstick and a pearl tiered necklace with an emerald center piece added to the drool factor; the swept back updo came close to tipping us into insanity.

Deepika accessorized with a chunky ring that matched her necklace, sparkling clutch, and bow topped glossy Ferragamo pumps.

Golden eye shadow, cinammon lipstick and curly locks rounded her red carpet looks.

The one film old star kid performed on popular numbers from her debut film Dabangg - 'Munni Badnaam' and 'Tere Mast Mast.'
