In the film Depp plays an American tourist visiting Venice, Italy, to mend a broken heart. Jolie plays a woman who crosses his path in order to mislead all those following her former lover, a criminal wanted in fourteen countries.

The film releases on December 10.

But, despite the fury of both Angelina and Aishwarya, we wonder if the people and the media would so easily let go of such a convenient and craftily-made nickname that has stuck to our tongues due to overuse in all these years.

Jolie Denies Rumours Related To Directorial Debut

Angelina Jolie has rubbished reports that her directorial debut involves a rape victim who falls in love with her rapist. The rumours  made rounds following a denial of filming permit in Bosnia because no screenplay was attached to the application, as required by law.
“There are many twists in the plot that address the sensitive nature of the relationship between the main characters, and that will be revealed once the film is released. My hope is that people will hold judgment until they have seen the film,” Usmagazine quoted Jolie as saying. A source also said, “This is not the story in the script. There are people trying to sabotage the movie.” Jolie said in a statement that she wants the women victims of war association in Bosnia to know that she plans to direct the film with the utmost sensitivity. “Obviously, any dramatic interpretation will always fail those who have had a real experience,” she concluded. Angelina Jolie's Father Jon Voight Plans to Skype with the Grandkids

Jon Voight, who is no longer estranged from daughter Angelina Jolie and appeared at the premiere of her new movie Salt, will be leaving for Texas to shoot the new television show Lonestar – but he plans on keeping in regular contact with his family. This comes amid reports that immediately following a painful break-up with Voight in the mid-70s, Angelina’s mother virtually abandoned her. At least that’s what Andrew Morton claims in his forthcoming unauthorized biography of the actress.

“It’s hard for me to be away from my grandkids, yes, but I’ll stay in touch with them,” said Voight. “Thank god we have this technology, and you know, we use all of it.” He said they will keep in touch via Skype. “We’re just setting it up now. Anyway, I love being in touch with the family.”

The veteran actor, who famously once said Jolie needed mental help, now has nothing but accolades for his daughter.

“Her work is terrific,” he says. “And Angie, for some reason, has this emotional capacity to make every piece of this really authentic, ’cause it’s really unreal stuff that they’re doing. But that’s the genre and she gives ... another energy to it.

“She’s very, very good,” he says. “It’s not like a novelty. She’s really doing it.”

“She’s a really talented person with a very wide range and lots of interests,” Voight says.

“It’s interesting to talk to her about why she made the decision to this movie ... She was nursing two babies at the time that she decided to do this role.”

Okay, we get it! She’s awesome! We forgive you for what you said about her mental state back in 2002, okay?!
