Sunil's ' Dokku Cycle' fetched Rs. 1.51 Lakhs

The ‘Dokku Cycle’ used in ‘maryada ramanna’ by Sunil with Voice Over of Raviteja fetched Rs. 1.51 Lakhs in an open auction held few hours ago. Producer Gopi purchased the cycle for this money. As promised earlier ‘maryada ramanna’ Producer Yarlagadda Shobhu along with SS Rajamouli added double this amount making it to Rs. 4.53 Lakhs to donate Devnar Foundation.

In this mean time, ‘Sunil’s mother donated her Provident Fund of Rs. 51,000; Nagineedu garu gave Rs. 10,000 and PRO BA Raju gave Rs. 10,000 while builder Srinadh gave Rs. 25,000 making the total to Rs. 5,49,000 donated to Devnar Foundation for the Blind,’ tweeted Rajamouli.

Once rejected.. Now a Hero : Sunil

It's a known news that Ram Gopal Varma has roped in Comedian turned Hero Sunil to play as a hero in his upcoming venture 'Kadha, Screenplay, Darsakathvam - Appala Raju'. Here is an interesting fact about the duo. Earlier, when RGV was scouting for a friend charecter in Sumanth Starrer 'Premakatha' sunil has attended the auditions. However, RGV has rejected Sunil for that role as he might not be the perfect fit for the role. Over the years sunil has made a name for himself in Tollywood with his acting abilities and the sensational director RGV is now directing him as a Hero. Rejected as a Comedian, getting an offer for a hero role the journey of Mr.Sunil is awesome and an inspiration to many wanna be actors. Appalaraju to direct from August 27

After the landslide success of SS Raja Mouli's Maryada Ramanna starring comedian sunil Babu and Saloni Aswani, another windfall has come in sunil's way. This time ace director Ram Gopal Verma (RGV) has invited sunil to lead his funny movie Katha Screenplay Darshakatvam Appalaraju.

 The film being produced by Kiran Koneru's Shreya Productions is about a movie maniac trying to get to the top in film industry. The flick is set to be a Sankranthi release. Half luck and another half 'hard work' is at the root of the flick. The shooting of the film will commence on August 27.

The comedian hero who is already in cloud-Nine after the Maryada Ramanna glory is excited about the invitation from RGV. sunil has established his mettle and earned rave reviews for his recent hit. sunil's first film as a hero was Andala Ramudu (2006) opposite Aarti Agarwal. It was an average film.
However, sunil has won several awards besides his fans' applause for his humorous characterisation.

Ram Gopal Varma started his career by directing the Telugu movie Shiva starring superstar Nagarjuna, which was a box-office hit. Now, Varma is back to Telugu movies after years.

Kommaram Puli Trailers In between Maryada Rammana Shows

Rajamouli-Sunil’s ‘Maryada Ramanna’ is releasing with 325 prints in 400 theaters  on July 23rd, trailers  of Power Star Pawan Kalyan-SJ Suryah’s ‘Komaram Puli’ are going to be sent to those theaters along with ‘Maryada Ramanna’.

Informing this to the media producer of ‘Komaram Puli’ Singanamala Ramesh Babu said, “The trailers will be screened at all those theaters ‘Maryada Ramanna’ will be screened. The audio of ‘Komaram Puli’ received very good response. Therefore we are hoping that the response will be good in theatertrailers too. Very soon ‘Komaram Puli’ will hit theaters.”

Along with the lead pair Pawan Kalyan and Nikeesha Patel, other prominent actors are Manoj Bajpai, Nazar, Charan Raj, Ali, Brahmaji, Master Bharat, Saranya, Kovai Sarala, Jyothi Lakshmi and others.

Musical scores are provided by AR Rahman, art by Anand Sai, editing by Prabhakaran, fights by Vijayan, Tinu Varma, cinematography by Binodh K Pradhan and story, screenplay and direction by SJ Suryah.

Sunil Upcoming Comedy "Maryada Ramanna" on July 23rd

SS Rajamouli and Sunil upcoming Comedy Film ‘Maryada Ramanna’ is hitting theatres on July 23rd.This Movie is produced by Devineni Prasad and Shobhu Yarlagadda under Arka Media Works banner.Earlier the plan was to release the film with 250 prints which later increased to 300 on exhibitors demand. But now the distributors and exhibitors have raised their expectations on the film after receiving positive reports, hence they further demanded for 25 more prints. “Right now as per their demand the movie will release with 325 prints in about 400 theaters and is likely to be increased further after the film’s release”, says one of the producers Shobhu Yarlagadda.

Featuring Saloni as female lead opposite Sunil the film has Nagineedu, Brahmaji, Rao Ramesh, Venu Gopal, Kaanchi, and others in prominent roles. Music is composed by MM Keeravani and cinematography is by C Ram Prasad.

‘Maryada Ramanna’ with Sunil and Saloni as lead pair is presently in final leg of preparations. Rajamouli is directing his film full length comedy entertainer movie.The new entrant Nagineedu is playing the Rayalaseema faction leader. Right now a song is being picturised at Annapoorna Studios in Hyderabad.
