Three Malayalam movies Kuttisrank, Sakudumbam Shyamala and Ammanilavu were all set to release on 23rd July. Among these Kuttisrank and Sakudumbam Shyamala comes with lot of expectations.
Directed by Shaju N Karun, Kuttisrank features Mammootty in leading role. Three actress Padmapriya, Kamalinee Mukherjee and Meena Kumari appear in important roles in this movie. This is first time Mammootty will be appearing in a Shaju in Karun film. Reliance Big pictures will be producing this movie. Also this movie is a debut movie for Tamil actress Kamalinee Mukherjee in Malayalam. Cinematography of this movie is by Angeli Shukhla.
Another movie Sakudumbam Shyamala features Urvashi, Kunchacko Boban, Bhama, Suraj Venjarammoodu, Saikumar and Jagadeesh in important roles. This is first time Bhama will be pairing opposite Kunchacko Boban. This movie is directed by debutante director Radhakrishnan Mangalath and S Gopakumar will be producing this movie.
Ammanilavu is another movie releasing on 23rd July. This movie doesn't features any main actors in Malayalam. Directed by M.D Rajendran, Sasi Ayyengira will be doing the leading role in this movie. Other cast in this movie include Jagathy Sreekumar, Mala Aravindan, Balachandran Chullikkad, Sreejith Ravi, Mallika, Aparna Nayar and Saju Sajan. The music of this movie by M.D Rajendran and Sasi Ayyengira itself will be producing this movie.
Another Malayalam movie Yakshiyam Njanum will be releasing on 22nd July. This movie has been in news for some months. This movie features Gubil Rajan P Dev and Meghna in leading roles. Other cast include Gautham, Riki, Shanin, Captain Raju, Mala Aravinda, Sivani and Joobi. This movie is scripted and directed by Vinayan and Rooban Gomas will be producing this movie in the banner of R G Productions.
