Lingusamy’s Vettai was announced a couple of months ago with Silambarasan in the lead. But eventually the role was lapped up by Arya. Then there were a lot of rumors going on that several top heroines in Kollywood like Tamannah and Sameera Reddy are considered for the role.

The latest on Vettai is that Amala Paul heroine of Myna movie has been signed up as one of the heroines. Sources in Kollywood say that Lingusamy may sign up another leading actress too for Vettai. Produced by Cloud Nine Movies, music is done by Yuvan Shankar Raja and Nirav Shah is the man in-charge of the camera.

Arya-Nayanatara's Nene Ambani releasing thorugh SVR Media

SVR Media (Pvt) Ltd., that distributed many super hit films like ‘Dasavataram’, ‘Surya s/o Krishnan’, ‘Awara’, ‘Iron Man’, ‘Pirana 3D’, etc., is now set to present yet another youthful cum family entertainer titled ‘Nene Ambani’. The Tamil version ‘Boss Engira Bhaskaran’, which starred Arya and Nayantara as lead pair is being dubbed as ‘Nene Ambani’ in Telugu. This movie was originally produced by Vasan Visual Ventures in Tamil.

Sobha Rani of SVR Media while speaking, “This is the only film in Tamil at par with ‘Endhiran’ that collected about Rs 30 crores. Rajesh, who delivered many super hits in the past, has crafted this film with a unique storyline targeting the youth as well as the family audience. Yuvan Shankar Raja’s music is a big asset to the film. This apart, Rajesh’s direction, Shakti Saravanan’s cinematography, Vivek’s editing, Dinesh’s choreography, Sashank Vennelakanti’s dialogues, Bhuvanachandra and Vennelakanti’s lyrics put together will make this film a very big hit. We are planning to release the audio shortly. I’m very confident that this film will be received by the Telugu audience as well. We thank the Vasan Visual Ventures for offering us the remake rights despite a very big competition. ‘Nene Ambani’ is going to give yet another big hit to our banner.”

New beats for Arya’s Chikku Bhukku!

Arya and Shriya Saran starrer forthcoming release ‘Chikku Bhukku’ has come up with something new beats which have been composed by The Colonial Cousins Hariharan and Leslie. These music composers made famous singers Adnan Sami and the Wadali Brothers to render their voice for the film.

On working with famous singers, Hariharan says, “We felt that it would be better if we could give a Sufi feel to the song Thooral Nindralum… So we approached the Wadali Brothers, who crooned it in a great way”.

On speaking about the song ‘Vizhi Oru Paadhi…’, rendered by Adnan Sami, he adds “The reason behind bringing Adnan Sami for this song was that we wanted a different pronunciation to suit the character it was meant for. And we have achieved it with the help of the singer”.

It is directed by Manikandan and produced by Media One Global Entertainment.

The director says, “It is a romantic travelogue which starts in London and ends in Karaikudi. A youthful entertainer it will be.”

When is Arya getting married?

Arya says that he does not love any heroine. While speaking to the media, he said,” I am very happy and satisfied with the success of Boss Engira Baskaran. Next I am waiting for the release of Chikku Bukku.

The dispute between this film producer and me has been amicably settled. The shooting of the film Avan Ivan directed by Bala is going on. I would like to act with long hair and beard like Naan Kadavul. It was not hard growing the hair.

I liked that style. I have started the production house The Show People in order to bring out the talents of news artists. I am producing a film titled Padithurai directed by Saga.

New faces are acting in this film. I am not acting in this film since the story did not require me. I will continue to produce films and will introduce new people. Since I am donning hero roles, there are lots of rumors about me. Some rumors seem to be interesting and these kinds of rumors also help me in my career growth.

In my house they keep on asking when I am going to get married. There is no urgency now. I am meeting and moving with so many girls. I will marry the girl who impresses me at the first look itself. For the sake of marriage I cannot marry a girl. I am not in love with any of the heroine I am acting with.”

A.R. Rahman's Associate in Romantic Travelogue

Pravin Mani’s association with A.R. Rahman dates back to 90s, where the duo came up with sensational peppy numbers like ‘Petta Rap’ in ‘Kadhalan’ and more western numbers. Pravin Mani later got himself involved in various albums and got back to work with A.R. Rahman in ‘Ghajini’, ‘Slumdog Millionaire’ and recent release ‘Enthiran’.

Pravin Mani has been signed for background scoring in ‘Chikku Bhukku’ and will also tune couple of additional tracks.

The producers have conveyed that Pravin Mani’s aesthetic touch of enhancing romantic feel through his music has been successful in many films. ‘We believe that his involvement over background score will embellish the rich visuals and poignant romance’.

The film’s music will be released on August 13 and Think Music has acquired the audio rights.

Details about Udhayanidhi’s debut film | Boss Engira Baskaran Udhayanidhi's debut Movie

Director Rajesh of ‘Siva Manasula Sakthi’ fame, who has finished shooting ‘Boss Engira Baskaran’ Monday last, is currently busy with the post production works of the Arya-Nayantara starrer.

After completing everything related to the film produced by Vasan Visual Ventures and presented by Udhayanidhi Stalin’s Red Giant Movies and Arya’s ‘The Show People’, the filmmaker will start directing Udhayanidhi for his debut heroic venture.

“I have already started the groundwork. The film will launch Udhay as a romantic hero. It will be on the lines of ‘Vinnaithandi Varuvaya’,” says Rajesh, adding: “It is going to be a perfect launch pad for Udhay.”

“The script is getting its final touches now. An official announcement will be made once everything is ready,” he adds. It is to be noted that Udhayanidhi, one of the top producers of Tamil cinema, did a cameo in his production venture ‘Aadhavan’ last year.

Vedam Release on May 4th

‘Vedam’, that was supposed to release on June 3rd has been postponed by one day. Therefore it will now release on June 4th instead of June 3rd. This is the second film for director Krish after his stupendous success ‘Gamyam’. Starring Allu Arjun, Manoj Manchu, Anushka, Manoj Bajpai and Nagayya in central  roles, its’ jointly produced by Prasad Devineni and Shobu Yarlagadda under Arka Media banner.
