Hansika is Lolitha

Hansika is Lolitha

Though the name of the character Hansika Motwani playing in ‘Ich’, directed by Prabhudeva, is Lalitha, ‘Jayam’ Ravi, the protagonist of the film would call her Lolitha throughout the movie.

“There is a specific reason behind his calling me Lolitha and you would know it once the film gets released,” the actress, who has returned from Paris after completing the shoot of the movie, says.

Happy about bagging promising projects in Tamil, she says, “I am thrilled that my first three films in Kollywood are with three big stars- Ravi, Dhanush and Vijay. All of them are very cooperative and helpful.”

She adds: “While ‘Ich’ is a romantic entertainer, both ‘Mappillai’ and ‘Velayudham’ are mass movies, which would appeal to all sections of the audience. I am waiting with excitement for the release of these films.”

Hansika Motwani says that she is a switch off-switch on star

Hansika Motwani is a Mumbai girl and is now pairing with Vijay in Velayudham, with Dhanush in Mappillai and with Jayam Ravi in Itch. While speaking to the media she said,” I am a Mumbai girl. My mother was a doctor. After coming from school I use to sit in her clinic and play pranks.

I use to mimic the people who are there. Seeing this I got the opportunity to act in an Ad film at the age of nine. I also acted with Sharukh Khan in a car Ad film. After this I acted in a TV serial.

I got 14 best child actor awards for acting in this serial. From that time itself I use to pass my time before the camera. Juhi Chawla got me a small role in the Hindi film Koi Mil Gaya. After this I got introduced in a Telugu film which had Allu Arjun in the lead role in the year 2007. After this I had acted in a Hindi film in Aap Ka Zaroor.

Both the films earned me a good name. Then I started acting in Kannada films and now I am acting in Tamil films. Many are asking me whether I will able to withstand in Tamil industry. Don’t think that I came from Mumbai to dance and go. I am a powerful performer.

I am called switch off-switch on star in Hindi and Telugu industry because I can immediately perform any reaction given. It is like how a bulb burns when the switch is on. Is there anybody here to compete with me.”

Anushka & Hansika say 'No' to Tamil Tambis

As we know already that, Tamil Tambis follow a different way of showcasing their love on favourite heroines. We have seen enough of temples for heroines like Khushboo, Simran, Asin, Trisha, Tamanna and others; new members to join the band wagon to sit as Goddesses in Tamil temples are anushka and Hansika.

After anushka’s glamor doing Tamil audience to loose their hearts with ‘Vettaikkaran and Singam;’ there were proposals from her Fans about building a temple while anushka who knows about the BP of Tamil Tambis quitely rejected the proposal.

On the otherside, there were reports that even Hansika who doesn’t have even a single Tamil release till now is saying ‘No’ for the Temple proposal from her beauty admirers. ‘Maappillai, Ich and Velayudham’ are three Tamil films from Hansika set to release this year. That’s Hansika and anushka for Tamil Tambis.

Did Hansika learn her lessons?

Hansika Motwani, who was riding high with the success of her debut film ‘Desamuduru’ followed by ‘Kantri’, later could not sustain due to her back to back flops like ‘Jayeebhava’, ‘Maska’ and ‘Seetaramula Kalyanam’. Seems like she regretted for doing those films, hence she maintained a low profile with no films on hand. Slowly but gradually she managed to grab two films in Tamil. And now, she is back in Tollywood again by signing Balakrishna’s ‘Paramaveera Chakra’. She would be sharing the screen with Anushka who is the main heroine. As of now Hansika appears more than happy for being part of this prestigious film to be directed by Dasari Narayana Rao.

“I wasn't offered Golimaar” – Hansika Motwani

Here’s a small confirmation for all those who have been wondering as to why Hansika did not feature in Puri Jaganandh directed ‘Golimaar’. Some time back there was a strong buzz that director Puri Jaganandh is planning to rope this beautiful actress to share screen space beside handsome hunk Gopichand.

In fact, it was Puri Jaganandh, who introduced Hansika Motwani to Telugu film industry through the block buster ‘Desamuduru’. But it seems that Hansika was busy with her shooting schedules and hence could not take the offer.

Later, Hansika was haunted with several counseling calls and messages asking her how could she miss the offer. But Hansika briefs everyone that she did not do the films, not because of shooting itinerary, but because she was not offered.

Tweets a candid Haniska, “HEY guys getting many tweets saying that why i opted out of golimaar ..just for the record i wasn't offered golimaar

Hansika bussiest bee in Kollywood

With virtually offers drying up in Tollywood, Hansika moves to Kollywood for better chances. And offers land in abound for this bubbly beauty. She has already completed two films and has signed another flick with big hero Vijay there. Staring her career in Hindi, she shot to fame in Telugu but she lost the opportunities as she started demanding heavy remuneration. So she shifted her base to Chennai where going is good as of now.
